Point Addis, Mount Hotham and Great Sandy Desert art
April 30, 2014This series as again inspired by the trip to the Great Sandy Desert and the East Kimberly Coast although some of the photos I had for some time. It was only on that trip that it became clear on how to use them. A very nature inspired series but also inspired b the indigenous artsit’s that we met along the way. To see every day things like the trees and Point Addis but to see them in a far more treasured way. The bark on the tree from the waterhole and all the changes it has seen from hundreds of years that have passed and the people that have swum below its shady branches along with the beauty of the beauty of the silhouettes of the burnt out Alpine Ash. The hope of blue sky with spring soon approaching and the chance for rebirth and new life.
